01 - The Community Cleanup
Starting of as a high school assignment, Sashwath and Shyam brought together, twenty people from the community through a cleanup. 50 kilgograms of trash was collected in total, and it was very difficult just to lift the trash bags and put them into the bin! View more here.

Decemeber - Books Donation Drive
This was the first month of operation for TheMonthlyBox. We collected 107 books and donated them to All The Children Home in Karapakkam. These books were placed in the library of the orphanage. View images here.

Clothes Donation Drive
The Clothes Donation Drive collected used clothes in the community to support local shelters and charitable organizations helping needy people.
Scope: The drive accepts clothing for all age groups and sizes. The drive can accept things like shirts, pants, dresses, coats, and shoes. All items should be wearably good. The project has many components: collection, sorting, dry cleaning, and distribution.

March - Gently-Used Footwear
In March, The Monthly Box focused on collecting gently used footwear for children in need. Volunteers across multiple apartments helped set up boxes and spread awareness. Thanks to community support, we gathered over 400 pairs of shoes, sandals, and slippers to donate to local orphanages. View images here.
